The healing journey is the most beautiful of journeys, as it gives us the opportunity to completely transform ourselves from an unhealthy way to a new and vibrant one. Healing is a self-created state and can completely transform our mind, body, and spirit. Healing is a process of ascension into a higher vibrating life force energy and the ascension process can be accelerated by incorporating regular healing techniques for mind, body and spirit into our lifestyle.

One of the interesting concepts about healing is the concept that we must feel in order to heal. Most of us find a state of what we see as balance through an external mechanism. We find something that calms our nerves and it works once, so we do it over and over again until it becomes an addiction. I don’t see addiction the same way as most, because I have chosen that path in the past. I don’t look at it with eyes of judgment, but I do look at it with eyes of compassion and really, even congratulations that someone has found something that works to keep them surviving and functioning, even if it’s at a lower level than their potential. People who are addicted to something are still here and still get by and I honor that in my brothers and sisters. Although we may not consider ourselves addicted, we have all calmed our nerves with something at one time or another. Wine, chocolate, food, cigarettes, and even exercise have all been excellent external tools used as calming agents.

My Reiki and coaching clients come to me because they are tired of living in survival mode and want to feel good! They are tired of numbing themselves to avoid pain. They want to feel the pristine joy that living a high-vibration life brings them. They want the magic that so many talk about.

Fortunately, the healing journey of the mind, body, and spirit does not have to take years of therapy, but can be done as an ongoing journey to feel the old, release it, and make room for the new. Feeling, really feeling what is going on in our mind, body, and spirit is very empowering and can help guide us on our journey if we make the decision to listen.

I challenge you to start feeling, so that you can release what is no longer useful to you on your journey! Enjoy feeling the sensations. Enjoy your healing journey!
