Little boys always love a Star Wars birthday party. Running and fighting with their lightsabers is all they need to have fun, but you can also play with slogans and decorate your party to make it really special.

With some foil and a card, you can create an entire galaxy for their imaginations to run wild and you could create a party that your little one’s friends will never forget.

Take a look at these ideas

party essentials

If you’re throwing a party, there are some essentials you always need, like plates, cups, goodie bags, napkins, invitations, and balloons. Sure, you can pick them up at most supermarkets, but if you want to make your Star War party memorable, why not use themed essentials?

You can collect all your Star War essentials, plus streamers, ribbons, tablecloths, and cutlery, all in the Star War theme.

dress

There are plenty of Star Wars birthday party costumes your little boy or girl could dress up in, from Darth Vader to Princess Leia, Anakin and Yoda. Dressing up is one of the most fun parts of a Star War party. You could ask everyone to dress up as someone different because there are so many good characters.

Games

good bad verses

You could propose a competition for your Star War birthday party between good and evil, including questions and activities.

Divide your guests into two groups (those dressed as good guys and those dressed as bad guys). You can have multiple rounds for this competition as follows:

question round

You ask questions and the first team to yell the correct answer gets a point. You could do Star Wars trivia or space questions like “what is the closest planet to the sun?” to keep the game on your party theme

group round

This is a bit like a treasure hunt. First, cut out ten images of Star Wars characters (good guys, not bad guys) and glue them onto cardboard circles. These can be of different sizes, but should not be smaller than the circumference of a cup. Place them around your garden or home in plain sight, but not in obvious places.

Explain to your guests that ten members of the Alliance have gone missing (Star Wars Goodies). The good guys must find them before the bad guys catch them. The two groups must go out and find as many missing as they can and get a point for each one they bring back.

fight to the death

This round is the same as the musical beats but you explain that it is a fight, good versus evil and the last man standing gets 10 points for his team.

Your guests dance and when the music stops they must sit down as fast as they can. The last person to sit is out of the game. The winner gets ten points and his team wins the competition.
