So you have a spider problem, huh?

I know exactly how you feel: I had a nasty spider problem. It didn’t bother me at first until I started getting more, and then they started biting my little girls.

I got rid of them by taking preventative measures and creating a natural spider repellent. Here are two things to do to keep your spider problem at bay:

mark your territory

Chase the spiders! Check all possible nooks and crannies. They love wood products and will hide anywhere, even in air vents. If you have a dresser that has unused “racks,” check them out. Spiders won’t think twice about hiding in your clothes. If you have stuff lying around, just get rid of it.

Sweep up spiders and check places you can’t normally clean; under sofas, under kitchen tables… if you have an invasion of spiders, then they are there, believe me.

Clean under the bed and get rid of the clutter. Move your beds away from the walls and pick up all the cardboard and other wooden things you have lying on the floor. This includes the area around your home.

prepare your home

If you like cats, great. Cats love spiders and will help you get rid of the buggers. Put some eucalyptus in and around your house because spiders hate the smell.

Did you know that spiders test with their legs? Disgust them by cleaning your house with lemon-scented cleaner – it will turn spiders off completely.

Wait! – Do not stop doing these things for your home!
