Engagement Parties: What Makes Them So Outrageously Special?

Engagement parties are not only for fun and entertainment, but also for socializing and eating together. When my sister was getting engaged, the preparations and decorations that led to the party are still very indelible in my memory. What makes an engagement party so glamorous, special and memorable? Read on to find out!

My sister and I ARE IN THE LIVING ROOM GETTING DRESSED. While I was wearing a burgundy sari, my sister was wearing a red one. I put burgundy roses in my hair and did my makeup at the salon. My sister took a long time to get dressed: she had her nails done, her hair and face were beautifully decorated, so she looked like a beautiful bride-to-be at the end of the process. Her prince charming was abroad and her mom had come out with the engagement proposal while she was here with no remaining family of hers.

Our mom had come and relatives started arriving. The video gunman began taking videos of everyone who entered the huge hallway. Other guests arrived and finally the family of the would-be groom did the training. There was a lot of hustle and bustle as they did their part in the hallway.

There were red and white dining tables set around the hallway. There was low music in the air. There we have soft colored and white lights that add to the pageantry and spectacle. The bride-to-be had a spectacular and comfortable seating arrangement. The groom-to-be’s mom handed the ring to my sister’s long, beautiful ring finger. And the guests clapped and applauded.

After a while, the to-be bridegroom’s family left. We relaxedly had a chitchat among all close relatives as many guests left. After some small talk with each other and relaxing and paying the bills, my beautiful sister and I finally made it home, bringing the party to an end.

Engagement parties like this are great for socializing and eating out, without having the real burden and workload of an actual wedding party. A Pre-Wedding Entertainment Party Dining out is a form of enjoyment and recreation with family, friends, and others close to you that you want to touch and bond with for years to come.
